“What Note Is It?” – New Video Series Preview

Mr. Rob

Preschool Prodigies is all about engaging young children in meaningful and memorable play with individual musical notes!

We’re not just listening to different instruments or memorizing composers and styles. We’re actually learning the sounds of music and honing our sense of perfect pitch.

“What note is it?” A listening game inside Prodigies

One of the best ways to both develop and test for perfect pitch is to play simple listening games, which is why we are excited to announce a new series of videos inside Prodigies!

What Note Is It?

“What Note Is It?” is a colorful and beautifully simple listening game that allows Preschool Prodigies learners to practice and assess their sense of pitch!

We’ve created 8 different episodes so far, one for each of the main Chapters inside Preschool Prodigies. In each video, the learner will listen through 12 rounds of “What Note Is It?” while trying to identify the notes simply by listening.

The episodes each feature notes from their respective chapters! For instance, Chapter 2 features Low C and High c, while Chapter 5 features E G and A.

Plus each episode will be accompanied by a colorful worksheet that can be used to track and assess your student’s progress. It’s got writing your name, drawing shapes, and numbers and colors on it!
