Musical Activities through Play
Looking for an activity to do with your little one who may not be ready or old enough for Preschool Prodigies lessons quite yet?
Experiment with music through play by creating a hands-on musical sensory bin! In our bin, we included sleigh bells, maracas, castanets, egg shakers, a tambourine, a harmonica, a hand drum, and a few Preschool Prodigies bells. Once your bin is filled, set your child free to experiment with all the different sounds!
Don’t have your own rhythm band set yet? That’s okay! Some of these instruments are super easy to make!
For some DIY instruments, check out this awesome blog by Meaningful Mama. Making simple rhythm instruments such as egg shakers is an exciting craft, and you can have just as much fun making the instruments as playing with them!
Need your own rhythm instruments? Click here to purchase one of our favorite sets!
Enjoy creating music with your little one, and as always, happy musicing!
